RARE is not funded in any way by state, county, town, city, or federal government. We exist solely on public donations, memberships, Tops Receipts program, and educational presentations for schools, etc. RARE is an all-volunteer organization! We are in desperate need of larger facilities, can you help?? All donations of money or property are tax-deductible. Have a Heart, Help a Herp!!
Membership:
Membership to RARE is open to all individuals interested in the welfare of unwanted, abused, sick, or injured reptiles/amphibians or wild/exotics. Membership entitles you to the RARE Annual Report, the bi-monthly RARE NEWS, free unlimited reptile/amphibian pet checks, free vet referrals, animal adoptions, pet boarding, fecal checks for parasites, a tour of our facilities, unlimited information through our RARE HOTLINE, and the chance to make a difference in the lives of many.
